Castings are supplied unpainted unless otherwise stated in the description.
OO (4mm scale) Range
Coal staithes. British style timber built coal staithes with three cells. These were to be found at many stations where coal and coke was unloaded from the wagons it was transported in and the local coal merchant bagged it ready for delivery to his customers.

Coal office kit. A four piece, unpainted kit to produce a small British-style coal merchant’s office to sit alongside the coal staithes in your goods yard. The building would be suitable for many other purposes. Supplied complete with assembly instructions and a selection of signs.

Buffer stop. A sleeper-built buffer stop, as foundat the end of many sidings. These were a common sight in goods yards around Britain’s railways.

Platform edging – brick. Make your own platforms to any shape and size using our platform edging and ramps. The castings include a 1mm deep recess behind the edging stones to take the platform surface of your choice. By warming the castings in hot water, they can be gently curved to allow the platform to follow your trackwork. Severe curves should be avoided as distortion could occur to the detail. The castings are easily cut with a small-toothed saw if it is necessary to trim them to length to make the shape you desire. This pack contains one edging section 150mm long.
Platform ramp L - brick. Make your own platforms to any shape and size using our platform edging and ramps. The castings include a 1mm deep recess behind the edging stones to take the platform surface of your choice. By warming the castings in hot water, they can be gently curved to allow the platform to follow your trackwork. Severe curves should be avoided as distortion could occur to the detail. This pack contains one ramp section which slopes down to the left and is 150mm long and having a slope of 1 in 8.

Platform edging - stone. As in OO-004 but with random dressed stone effect.

Platform edging - brick/stone. A single piece of edging 150mm long with ramdom stone effect lower courses and stepped brick effect upper courses. Such edging was and still is used on some of the Scottish lines, e.g. the Aviemore branch. The rebate behind the edging to take the platform top material is 2mm deep.
Platform ramp L - brick/stone. A left sloping ramp piece to suit OO-010 above.
Platform ramp R - brick/stone. A right sloping ramp piece to suit OO-010 above.
Lineside hut 2. A small lineside hut with board and batten walls and felted, single-pitched roof. The model is approx 36mm square and is supplied as three castings – the walls, the roof and the chimney cap.

Wool bales - singles. Each pack contains four wool bale models. These are British style bales and scale out at approximately five feet long by four feet wide and three feet high.

Wool bales stack (10). A small stack of ten bales which can be used to detail the inside of a warehouse or a mill yard, or as a lorry load.

Wool bales load 1 (20). A stack of twenty bales for use as a lorry load. The stack is 85mm long and 35mm wide.

Pit props load 1. A wagon load of pit props to fit a 16ft 7-plank wagon. (See OO-027 for 13ft load and OO-029 for 15ft load)

Skylights 1. A casting containing a selection of 10 skylight mouldings (2 of each of 5 styles). Simply cut them from the casting, smooth the edge, paint, then glue to your rooftops.
Beehives – Skeps. These are an older style of beehive, used since medieval times, though they are still used today. They are generally made of bunches of reeds bound together with blackberry strands, and are approximately sixteen inches across. These scale models are approximately 5.5mm diameter at the base. Four castings per pack.

Beehives – WBC. These are what most people will think of when the word beehive is mentioned and were popular during the early part of the 20th century. Many are still made today, though they are mainly used as garden ornaments rather than functional beehives. These scale models are approximately 5mm square. Four castings per pack.

Beehives – Langstroth. The most popular style of beehive used by modern beekeepers. The hives are made in sections and can be enlarged as the swarm grows. Four castings per pack.

Pig hut 1. An ornate, hexagonal style of pig hut. The model measures 27mm across the centres of the side walls and 22mm high. Supplied unpainted and with the roof unattached to facilitate painting.

Hand operated crane kit. This model is based on the style of crane that was used on the Lynton & Barnstaple narrow gauge railway. The overall length of the finished model is only 66mm. The chains are simulated with sealing wire. The model is a static unit and does not operate. The model was produced for a customer who wanted one to mount on a narrow gauge (009) wagon.

Chicken coop. A model of an ‘A’ framed night ark style chicken coop measuring 12mm by 13mm by 12mm high. Two per pack.

CDR Red Van Body Kit. A finely detailed body only kit for a County Donegal Railway red van, as towed behind their railcars. The roof is of corrugated plastic sheet. The model is designed to fit a modified Nine Lines NL-30 chassis kit.
CDR Railcar roof. Castings for the basic roofs of the County Donegal Railway railcars numbers 19 and 20. These were made for a customer building the Worsley Works NG kit.
Hay stacks 1. A pack of three different models of old-fashioned, small, haystacks. In many places hay was stacked in piles when machinery was not at hand to bale it. The stacks would be approx. the height of a man and 4 to 6 feet across.

Rectangular tank 1. A kit to make a rectangular storage tank sitting on brick support walls. The kit comprises a 24mm high, 24mm wide and 32mm long tank with inspection hatch casting, two 10mm high brick support wall castings, and brass rod to form the supply, vent and delivery pipes. The parts are unpainted.

Pig hut 2: Amodel of a typical 8ft square pig ark with plywood front and back with corrugated metal roof. It is supplied in two unpainted parts to facilitate painting the insides.

Pigeon loft 1: A two-piece kit which makes a small, planked, pigeon loft scaling out at 6ft x 4ft. It has a single pitched roof, with a separate landing deck which can be positioned where you choose. The parts are supplied unpainted.

Point motor (W). A model of a Westinghouse type point motor. Supplied in packs of 2 units.
Cylindrical tank (Kit). A simple kit to produce a small cylindrical tank on brick support walls. The tank is approx 43mm long. Wire is provided to form the piping.

Chimneypots 1. A casting which provides two each of four different chimney pots.
Midland chimney 1: Midland railway style brick built chimney as found on many railway structures. Produced as an aid to modelling.
Outside toilet: A model of a brick built outside toilet as found in the back yards of early terraced houses. Supplied one unpainted casting per pack.

Dog kennel: A model of a small, pitched roofed, dog kennel. The model is a solid casting and scales out at 2ft wide by 3ft 6in long by 2ft 6in high. Supplied unpainted.

OO9 conversion kit for Bachmann Plymouth: A simple cab conversion kit for the Bachmann N-Scale Plymouth to make a freelance OO9 diesel.
OO9 water tank kit: A simple kit to produce a locomotive watering tank. The model is based on the tank at Dolgoch on the Talyllyn Railway in Wales. Supplied unpainted.
Toothed wall: Two sections of stone walling with a toothed effect top course, each approx. 149mm long by 29mm high by 9mm wide at the base. Supplied unpainted.
High stone wall: Two unpainted sections of high stone walling (Similar to our OO-080 but without the toothed effect), each approx 149mm long by 25mm high by 9mm wide at the base.
Horse trough 1: A single model of a simple stone horse trough scaling out at 5ft long by 2ft wide by 1ft9in deep. Supplied unpainted.

Retaining wall arch 1. A casting of an arched section of brick, English bond, retaining wall to which can be added an infill (See models OO-091 and OO-092), or which can be used as a bridge section. The model is based on the walls that supported Leicester Central station. Parapet sections are also available to surmount the arch. The casting is 122mm long by 87mm high with a basic wall thickness of 5mm.
Arch infill 1. A plain, English bond, brick wall infill for our OO-090 Retaining wall arch casting.
Arch infill 2. An industrial infill for our OO-090 Retaining wall arch casting. The doors casting is a seperate piece and allows for the doors to be modelled open. The model features blockwork walling and wooden doors with a steel girder lintol.
Parapet 1. A parapet section to sit above our retaining wall sections OO-090 and OO-099. The model features English bond brickwork, with rebates on the front face only, the rear being plain wall. It is based on the Great Central parapets around the old Leicester Central station. The section measures 122mm long by 22mm high and has correctly sloping coping stones.
Doors 2. Castings of a vehicle entrance door and a personnel door which can be simply painted and stuck to the outside of a building. The vehicle door is 42mm wide and 42mm high and the personnel door is 14mm wide and 27mm high.
Parapet ends. A pair of brick parapet ends to match our parapet 1 castings. May also be used as gateposts. They measure 8mm square and 29mm high.
Small buttress. A model of a small buttress to match our English bond brickwork retaining wall sections. The buttress is made up of three pieces which together give an overall height of 170.5mm. The plain wall base piece is 78mm high by 30mm wide by 11mm thick. The ornate centre piece is 29mm high and has a rebated rear face as per the prototype on the Great Central at the old Leicester Central station. The capping piece is 3.5mm thick with a chamferred top. Buttresses would be used where the retaining wall changed direction or additional support was required, such as where a bridge was installed.
Retaining wall - Plain. A section of retaining wall having a plain, English bond, brick face (I.e. no arch) which matches our other brick retaining wall sections. The model is 122mm long by 87mm high with a basic wall thickness of 5mm.
Pig iron load. A casting representing a load of pig iron to fit an LNER 20-ton plate wagon (Parkside Dundas kit PC16 or similar) though it could easily be trimmed to fit smaller wagons. Additional ‘pigs’ are supplied to vary the appearance where more than one wagon load is to be used. Supplied unpainted.
Sulphate load. A casting of a load of sulphate sacks to fit the Parkside Dundas LNER bogie sulphate wagon. One casting per pack.

OTA load. A set of three individually different castings which make up a load to fit the Hornby OTA wagon. The castings can be arranged in any order to make each wagon load appear different. Supplied unpainted.

Ground floor 1. A simple brick section of wall, with three windows of an industrial style, supplied with a seperate row of capping stones. Can be used as a single storey building flat against a backscene, or combined with other parts to make a multi-floor, or even stand-alone, building. The casting is 63mm wide by 50mm deep and 3mm thick. The capping stone strip is 3mm deep.
Upper floor 1. A brick built section of wall having three, industrial style windows for use as an upper floor with our OO Ground Floor castings. Multiple upper floors can be added to create taller buildings, the capping stone strip being added to the top floor. The casting is 63mm wide by 32mm deep and 3mm thick.
35ft Narrow boat. A model of a cruiser-sterned, recreational narrow boat. A single casting with wire tiller.
